Having studied music into his twenties and gained experience in various types of band constellations, he tends to specialize in different forms of fusion and art music. His primary influences include the usuals like Holdsworth, Gambale, Corea and Metheny, but also Einojuhani Rautavaara and Pekka Pohjola. While music, being a mystical energy and a uniting language, never fails to fascinate him, he also dedicates time to his family, books and mushroom picking.
